I if type 'update' at the windows start search & click on 'check for updates' - it takes me back to the screen. I've been thinking about creating a lighter weight W10 image with tools such as MSMG Tookit, or NTLite. When I click on 'windows update' - nothing happens. The windows updates does not work properly.
(The "old timers" here might remember that even NTLite had trouble earlier with leaving mounted images if a user (like me) goofed up. After I use my Winreducer to tweak my Windows 11 install. The last thing is, I was worried I might get stuck with mounted images if I didn't do things right.
I read in the MajorGeeks readme that it can remove IE (like NTLite). (I didn't try the Package Removal stuff - there was a dire warning about breaking things and I didn't want to try it. It only removes a few things, which NTLite can also remove.
